Trade Marketing Specialist (H/F) Dubaï
Role Overview:
- Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to drive brand presence and sales performance in retail channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of trade marketing plans.
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development:
- Formulate trade marketing strategies in alignment with overall marketing and sales objectives.
- Develop promotional plans, including in-store activations, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising strategies.
- Execution:
- Implement trade marketing activities across various channels, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure proper implementation of trade marketing initiatives in retail stores.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources for trade marketing activities.
- Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of trade marketing activities and their impact on sales and brand performance.
- Prepare regular reports on trade marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and support them with effective trade marketing tools and strategies.
- Liaise with external partners, such as advertising agencies and vendors, to develop and produce marketing materials.
- Communicate trade marketing plans and results to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Identify and implement new and innovative trade marketing tactics to enhance brand visibility and sales.
- Continuously seek ways to optimize trade marketing processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus but not necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. Expertise & knowledge in dairy products is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint, able to skillfully manipulate and analyze data and then present them in a clear and visually appealing way. Experience with graphic design software/tools is a plus.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and innovative approach to trade marketing.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on execution and results.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and visit retail stores around the country as needed to support trade marketing activities and collect data.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic and French is a plus.
