Global Purchasing Packaging Internship (M/F) - 6 months - Laval (53)

Your future role

Reporting to the Global Purchasing Flexible Packaging senior buyer, this position will allow you to improve your expertise on the construction of the purchasing globalization model, process optimization in a global environment and support of supplier relationship management for global categories.

Among the assigned tasks :  

Tender Support & Extended Sourcing  

• Define a standard template and support on flexible packaging regional/global tender 
• Investigate & launch a survey on the integration level of suppliers in films production value chain & generate the recommendation of business model 

Process Optimization, Internal Survey & Toolkit 

• Define and conduct an internal survey to analyze flexible packaging sourcing expertise and maturity across countries. 
• Support on building the flexible packaging tool kit to simplify & optimize the category management (standard structure denomination, cost models mapping, commodity evolution & price performance follow-up digitalization, etc.) 

Supplier Relationship Management  

• Drive suppliers to improve their KPIs (sales report, quality, key projects, sustainability, legal …)  
• Develop a standard business tracker for key suppliers

Your strengths  

You hold a Master’s degree in Business or Engineering from a recognized institution.

Ideally, you have a first experience working in a purchasing department. 

You are fluent in both French and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.

You have a strong proficiency in Excel and possess excellent analytical abilities.

You are proactive, curious, and analytical, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
